We visited with Jared and his nurse Margaret at 7:00 pm and she informed us that the doctors decreased the use of Jared's brain tube. This is encouraging news. We understand that tomorrow they plan to reduce his medication which may result in Jared doing more on his own.

The medical staff directed us that Jared needs complete rest and recommend no outside visitors.

To whom ever set this blog up...It's a great venue. My wife and I find this to be a great way to "track" Jared successes. Along with all others who give prayer and strenth, and are thinking of Jared and his family, we look forward to his future accomplishments.

I agree. Finally a good use for the internet. It is especially nice to be able to connect with Jane and Gary when we know that we cannot speak to them directly when they need this time for peace.

To Gary and Jane,
We are watching with interest for news about Jared and will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.
Betty had a family member who had a serious brain injury as a result of a car accident a few years ago and he also was in an induced coma for a few weeks. It is amazing to see the progress he has made so we are very optimistic for Jared.
Please know that we are here for anything we may be able to do to help.
