The nursing team removed Jared's oxygen nasal tube last night. However within 10 minutes his monitor oxygen levels decreased and his nasal tube was returned.
Jared had a very restless last night.
As of 5:00 pm this evening, Jared was resting quietly.
It is imperative that Jared requires complete rest at this time. When it is appropriate for visitors we will advise.
PLEASE NO HOSPITAL VISITATION

Dear Gary&Jane, You don't know me,but I haave been wondering how Jared is doing. Our son Alan was in a MVA Apr/06. He was 26 played hockey for St.FX.is youth &strength &positive attitude is what brought him through.Your son will do O.K. as well, it takes a lot of patiience.You people are going through more than your share,but you will get through it with support.The worst is not knowing the outcome of all this. Our son had a broken neck,had surgery 2weeks after accident,&still in coma. He is back to work full time. The staff in 5-2 are great.Our son then went to 7-3,they are wonderful as well.Keep positive,and most of all get your rest.Wish I was there to help you through this most difficult time in you life.
