Jared had a busy day with his recovery team. This afternoon, he walked over to the Veteran's Wing where he rented a WW 2 movie. He had a visit with friends and received food gifts consisting of oranges, fudge, and jube-jubes. Jared is exhausted from all his exercises and food.
He just called his mother on the telephone and wished her a good night !

Jared you dont know how much you made your Mom smile tonight when you called her and wished her good night-WOW..what an accomplishment..
I am so impressed with how well you are doing and how fast you move each day.Dont tire yourself out completely as you still need your rest to keep on healing..ok.Enjoy your friends and the food that they bring as it sure beats hospital food for sure..
Jane & Gary-I hope your first day back Gary was not too over whelming and that you felt like your life was starting to take a new path once again..hope you enjoyed it as much as you could.Jane -wow a phone call..made me smile from ear to ear...will have to bring you Tea in one of my fancy cups soon...hope you are getting your rest too.You all remain in our prayers and thoughts every day and we thank you for taking the time to post every day-I look forward to reading it each night now before bedtime.

It has made me extremely happy to hear that Jared is doing so well with his continued recovery. I went to school with Jared and was always amazed by his work ethic and positive attitude, and his recovery in large part is surely dueto this wonderful qualities of his.
