Jared said he had a very hard day today. He got the results of his neurotesting. Afterwards he went for a long walk. He has a lot of things to think through and absorb regarding his future.

Tough day but no matter what Jared you have a future to look forward to..yes it may different than what you had hoped for but sometimes our paths take a different turn through life and we have to make new plans to help us adjust but we can all do it..just have faith Jared and you will be ok with what ever is thrown your way..you are our MIRACLE from Christmas and we know that you will be fine with whatever hand is dealt to you...keep up the hard work and determination and we all will help you along the way..get some rest and walks-clear your head-and think happy thoughts as there are so many people out there for you and so many prayers coming your way..BELIEVE...

One thing I have learned from a friend who has greatly overcome the expectations of doctors: "Don't let other people's perception of you be your reality." You always have the final say in how far you recover & what you do with life. They told our friend he would never walk again & never live outside a nursing home. Less than a year after that, he lives home with his wife, he walks, he drives, he works. They told him he would never be able to move his right arm again, that it would always be droopy & dead. It works fine now. He never gave up & kept pushing himself. The docs are amazed. Why not you too?
You have age on your side & no man is totally an expert on the capabilities of the human brain. We are all still learning & being amazed. Push the limits they set for your recovery.

Dear Jared Gary and Jane
Sounds like yesterday was one of those days that make you want to just crawl back in bed, cover your head and hope everything was just a dream and you could start over.
Lately I have found new wisdom in "living in the moment" Accept the present moment and find the perfection in it. Lean on the people around you that love and support you to walk these trails and lighten your load.
As was mentioned by Ellen and Dave, you really have been our Christmas Miracle and I don't believe for a moment that God is finished with you yet. You are a beautiful inspirational young man. I knew this before your accident and I believe this even more now.
I will keep you close in my prayers
Love Valerie and Spencer
