Jared slept in an extra hour this morning. We rented a movie and took quite a few walks. Today Jared got to eat brekkie at the Smitty's around the corner from rehab. The sidewalks were dry and the sun was shining so we walked. Awesome day. He earned a nap in the afternoon and hopefully will have another good night's sleep.

You definitely deserved that nap after all the exercise you got today.Glad you got to enjoy the sunshine but most importantly SMITTY"s...yeh great breakfast I bet..they do serve some hardy breakfast that I love and so does my waist line..hehehehehe.
Nice to have a spring like day to enjoy the sun on your face-the wind at your back and Mom and Dad by your side and then to top it all off-a great movie to watch.My kind of Sunday..
Jared have a good nights rest as another week begins with your OT's etc and you will be tired from each new tasks and each new week there will more stuff added on your schedules..
"The man who can drive himself further once the effort gets painful is the man who will win."
This is you Jared- a person who has the will and drive to move forward so remember that this week.

Jared, although you do not know me personally (I know your Dad), you truly inspire me. We keep you in our thoughts & prayers each day & enjoy reading your progress on this blog.
I decided that I would walk WITH you today (Mon) on my lunch break. It was wonderful to get outside on this beautiful day! It brought a smile to my face knowing that you too, would likey be out enjoying the day.

Hi Jane,Gary and Jared,....Wow it's great to be able to write to all of you again with Jared at the controls. Amazing recovery Jared keep up the good work. I don't know if you remember Sterling from afew years back, but you guys along with your Dad took him to the fair...Hopefully you'll be able to do that again sometime. We have always been keeping a close watch on your blog and are so inspired by your progress ,a true trooper.To your Mom and Dad you are in our thoughts daily also ....hope your road is getting easier and sunnier with each passing day.We'll still keep you in our prayers,God bless.All our love Cathy, Michael and Sterling.
