Jared was up early and ready for a new day. He received an email that made him very happy. The weekends are free time so this is when he reads his emails . He is still tired from yesterday so he had a rest this afternoon. Looks like take-out tonight!

Hi Gary, Jane, & Jared, Another week behind you, and by the sounds of things you are doing very well. Isn't it nice to see the week-end come, to relax a bit. You are starting to get out more, this is good. All seems like a dream, and you and your parents can't believe this is happpening to you. Your lives have changed, and as hard as this has been for all of you, this terrible turn in you lives will make you stronger people. Keep up the positive attitude, and work hard. Just remember things WILL WORK OUT!! Nice to have a change from hosp. food, enjoy your Take-Out. Alan had swallowing problems for a lot longer than you and had to eat puree` foods. Take care, and rest up for another big week. Sleep well. Ruth & Ted Dwyer Maccan ruth_dwyer@hotmail.com

Dear jane Gary & Jared
yummy-takeout-what do you like to eat esp. from Halifax where there are so many good resturants to chose from...wish I was there...try and catch some zzzz's when you have free time cause it sounds like your weekdays are filled up with routines-exercises and walks...it is a nice cold day for a rest and some quiet times.
Enjoy your emails Jared and computer times...have fun with Mom and Dad tonight and get a good movie to watch..still say you should watch Across the Universe.
Happy Trails tonight
Much love and prayers

Hi Jane, Gary and Jared!!

So glad to see the continued updates on this blog... we check regularly as part of our daily routine :)

We are so pleased that Jared has come so far in so many ways!! We are thankful and so very happy that he (and his parents!) have had the strength to keep "slugging it out" even when things are tougher than anyone could imagine.

We love hearing all the positive recovery news and know that you are a great team and deserve lots of hugs for the hard work you are all putting in, especially Jared!!

Always in our hearts and prayers...
Rachel and Len
