Today began early as usual. It would turn to be a really exciting day because my father had us booked at a hotel. As time passed on I was surprised to find out I didn't have a T.A. Around this time I called my Mom the first of many times but it always came up as busy. I would later find out that my Mom was actually trying to call me but it just so happened that it was everytime I tried to call her.

Just before I finally got a call from my Mom I luckily got a call from my history teacher. I would have talked with her longer but I really wanted my Mom to call. Luckily she did call sooner than later and was also surprised to find out I didn't have a T.A.. After about an hour and a half she came in to visit me. Eventually my dad stopped by the hospital.

He drove us to the hotel where we would stay where I write you now from. For the first good night's sleep I've had since I have left the hospital here's Jared saying: Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Well, from our family to yours we have been keeping up to date on Jared's progress and it is certainly with great pleasure to see such wonderful progress. Every little step is one more step closer to recovery. You are all truly special and with the determination, support and love for one another, miracles will and do happen. Be patient, as time will heal the pain and suffering you have all experienced.

Hi Gary,Jane, & Jared.. Hope you all had a good sleep last night. So nice to get away from the hospital setting. Jared it sounds like you have a weak arm, just want to tell you Alan had a weak Rt. arm & leg, but with all the physio,he has good movement, just a little limp,so keep up the good work and your arm will come. As hard as you think it might be at times,it is all worth it in the end. Alan's Dr. was Dr.Joyce, she, along with the rest of the team, are wonderful. Jared you have been making great improvements. One day at a time!!! Take care folks and I will check in again. Ruth & Ted Dwyer Maccan
