Jared had a full day which included his first session of relaxation training. He said he almost fell asleep! At the end of the day he shared The Remembrance Day Ceremony 2007 at KES home video with some of his therapists. He was hoping that viewing this vedio would enable them some insight into what being a cadet entails.

The evening consisted of listening to Great Big Sea while playing cards. To bed earlier then usual as he was tired tonight.

Dear Jane Gary & Jared
Relaxtion therapy is soooooooooooooooo nice...it really can put you to sleep so I am glad you got to enjoy it Jared.

Seeing your video today was probably hard but also theraputic as well, as you were sharing a piece of your life with others.Being a cadet is dedication-very hard work and determination. You have shown them that you were like that and that you still are.Remember that Jared as you go through your routines each day-all the hard training you went through to become a GREAT cadet and now all the work and training you are going through to get back home..

Have a great day tommorow and continue to beat Mom at cards..hehehehehe

Much love and prayers

Just wanted you to know that I am still checking and marvelling at your progress Jared. It is hard for me to write to you as you haven't a clue who I am only that I work with your wonderful father who has done so much to help others. I know someone who made a huge recovery after being burned on 85% of his body and I used to visit him at the Rehab. It is not much of a building but they really help people and it seems to me you are following all the plans they have for you. It must be hard at times but please know there are lots of people in the valley who really care about you.
Sincerely,
Janet Newton
