Was talking with Jared at 8AM and he was up and ready for the day. He enjoys the pool therapy. After lunch we had a meeting with two members of his team. The meeting was held to gather ideas and goals that Jared feels are important to him. Then a planned schedule is devised and organized to enable Jared to continue meeting these goals once leaving rehab, keeping in mind he still needs proper rest and time. The staff constantly remind all of us about patience. The recovery process in brain injuries are long and slow for the patients. We will take whatever time is needed to recover together.

Isnt patience your middle name Jane and Gary??You are two of the most easy going and patient people that I have ever met in my life so it should be easy for you..time will heal all and time can be slow at the best of times but Jared has proven to us all that he can do this and get better with each passing day.He is focused-driven and will perservere with every challenge that comes his way..glad they have meetings each week and come up with new plans for his recovery.They are doing a great job there with him and Jared is doing a wonderful job following rules-exercises and enjoying seeing you on a daily basis..
Keep up the POSITIVE attitude and soon we will see him and you all home once again..

Jared you are truly an amazing person and you have come so far since your accident.With your strong determination and God's help,you will soon be home sleeping in your own bed.
