Jared seemed to relax and enjoy his day. Yesterday he communicated a desire to watch TV and tuned in again this evening. Jared has acquired ( from friends ) a DVD player and some of his favourite movies ( including Star Wars ). Tonight we received permission from the nursing staff to watch movies. Combined efforts and communication with everyone is most important in order to initiate/discontinue what works for his recovery.

Praise God for this gift of the miracle of Jared. It truly is amazing how progressive his recovery has been. Your blog entries the past couple days have been so exciting. I am so happy that you have been given this blessing. Thinking of you all so very often and cheering in this little corner of Centreville for Jared!

Star Wars-great movie to watch..WOW..it is truly amazing to watch this miracle unfold before our eyes..WONDERFUL..it is nice to know you have such great communication with all the staff etc and they will keep you on your toes when things are right to move forward with more stimulii...he still needs his quiet times and time to heal as it is still a long road yet but each baby step he has taken has made us all SMILE and encourage us to pray even harder to keep this miracle going..
Nasty weather here today-stay safe-enjoy his small steps and keep on believing that things are happening for a reason..

Marshall once told Laura that the 'force was not strong in her' but it certainly seems to be in your Jedi knight! Cannot believe the progress that man is making. We continue to cheer from our corner in Ardoise for all of Jared's recovery.
