Jared was brighter today. When he saw that he was able to watch a DVD, he replied "awesome". He increased his daily walks to routinely after his meals. He requested "waffles" but the nurses said to wait a little while longer. Every day there is something to be thankful for.

Waffles sound great- I can make you my homemade ones when you come home ok..kids love them..just ask Jackson..
Everything sounds like it is moving along each day with new steps and encouraging news-WAY TO GO...we are so proud of you Jared and just how far you have come in such a short time..AMAZING./..nothing short of a miracle here..
Enjoy your movie night but remember you still need your quiet times and rest to move onward..we will all get to see you when arrive home one day soon..prayers are still coming your way to give you strength and to move forward..keep up the great progress and making Mom and Dad smile at the end of each day..

I can definatly support the awesomeness of Ellen's waffles! I've never had them myself but Jack definatly raves about them!!!If only you could eat waffles with a spatchula, then we'd have all our bases covered in one meal!
Jared! You rock my socks!!! Thinking of you watching Star Wars couldn't bring a bigger smile to my face!!! I would make some sort of clever star wars comment, but Laura's was so good that I know I'd fall short!!!! You are in my thoughts and prayers all the time! Your progress never ceases to amaze me, yet somehow, knowing your determination, I'm not that suprised! You got this champ! Keep smiling!
